Dr. Shaun Sigurdson

Born in England and raised in Texas, Dr. Sigurdson earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Texas in Austin, then completed his doctorate in dentistry at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He completed a residency for Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Baylor College of Dentistry before joining the faculty at Baylor’s Advanced General Dentistry Clinic. There, he was awarded a fellowship in advanced restorative, aesthetic, and implant dentistry. He holds membership in a number of respected organizations and is a co-owner of Lakewood Dental Group.

As a dentist in Dallas, Dr. SIgurdson places and restores implants and offers oral rehabilitation, as well as cosmetic dentistry. He believes that education empowers patients and so he takes time to explain and discuss treatment plans with his patients. 

Dr. Mihir Patel

Also born in England, Dr. Patel was raised in the DFW area and now co-owns Lakewood Dental Group. A childhood dental injury led him to pursue dentistry as a career path. Dr. Patel graduated magna cum laude from Texas A&M, then earned his doctorate of dental surgery from the university’s College of Dentistry, where he made the Dean’s Cumulative Honor List. He also earned a certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Baylor College of Dentistry. 

Dr. Patel is a comprehensive dentist who prioritizes his conservative treatment philosophy. As for continuing education, Dr. Patel is interested in endodontics, aesthetic dentistry, and implant surgery. He holds membership in many respected dental organizations and volunteers his services, making oral health care available to those who cannot otherwise afford it.
